Eiderdown Books is GO!

Eiderdown Books is GO!

What a busy few days we've had with our official launch at the London Art Book Fair at the Whitechapel Art Gallery - Eiderdown Books is Go!

On Thursday morning we woke up to a fantastic mention in the Evening Standard. Later that day our founder Harriet Olsen was interviewed for Monocle Radio (you can listen to that here) and then on Friday she chatted on stage with curator Amy Budd, publisher and New Suns festival director Sarah Shin and our very own Marlow Moss author Lucy Howarth about the current landscape for feminist publishing.

On Friday afternoon our authors joined us for a special book-signing event and we *may* have popped a few bottles of prosecco to toast our launch...

We enjoyed meeting some fantastic publishers over the course of the weekend (and had the best neighbours: shout out to Joe from Design for Today, Nadine from Common-Editions, George Cullen and his stunning risograph books, our new friends at Columbia Art and Architecture and the team behind The White Review).

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to say hello and buy one of the very first copies of the Modern Women Artists books. We will be sending out a special thank you token to those who signed up to our mailing list at the fair soon so keep your eyes on your inboxes.

And finally, if you weren't able to make it along to the London Art Book Fair to see us, we have a few more opportunities to meet our authors coming up over the coming weeks - we'll keep adding to the events listing here. Hope to see you there!
